Father God, you are the best hope I have

The virus is destructive and deadly

I am anxious and uncertain, worried and afraid

Listen Father, we really need your help

Help us to trust you, the Lord of all life

Please save us from sickness and deliver us from death

Help us keep our good health

Heal our weaknesses and vulnerabilities

Give us some of your strength and power to overcome them

Then in your mercy and compassion give us an injection of enduring hope

in your unfading kindness and protection

We so count on them, Father

You are the creator of all our creativity and ingenuity

Bless and guide our speeding efforts searching for a universal and efficacious vaccine

All your children are waiting and hoping

Bring us speedily back to normal;

No, forward to super-normal where we care for each other like never before.
