Joe Mule' & Charlie Fries in 1936

Joe Mule' and Charles A. Fries, Sr. in 1936 in the backyard of 64 Vermont Ave. (became known as Interboro Pkwy on or near 1939 when the Parkway was originally built (now known as the Jackie Robinson Parkway although the house address is still 64 Interboro Pkwy as per the current home owner.)   This photo was found in an album that belonged to my Grandma and Grandpa Fries (Joe and Elizabeth).  It was taken in 1936 at which time Joe and Charlie would be entering their last year at Brooklyn College since they graduated in 1937.  Don't they look so adorable in their white shoes?
